Колекция „Сиджили” в интернет / Kadı records digitized
Основната текуща задача на отдела е обработката на колекция „Сиджили”, с цел всички архивни единици от нея да бъдат цифровизирани и включени в „Дигитална библиотека” на НБКМ. По този начин над 170 кадийски книги ще бъдат предоставени за свободно ползване през интернет.
Всички налични сиджили ще бъдат обработени, заснети и включени в „Дигиталната библиотека” на НБКМ до пролетта на 2011 г. Вече са достъпни и първите напълно готови архивни единици: кадийски книги от София, Русе и Видин. Достъпът до тях се осъществява като след вход в „Дигитална библиотека” се избира масив „Сиджили”.
В научната обработка на сиджилите участват сътрудниците на отдел „Ориенталски сбирки” Стоянка Кендерова, Аспарух Велков, Севдийе Али и Стоян Шиваров. Стоян Шиваров отговаря за кадийските книги от каза София.
Цялата дейност по цифровизацията и описанието на сиджилите се осъществява в рамките на проект „Дигитализация и запазване на писменото наследство на България”.

All this work is part of a much larger scale project called “Digitalizing and preserving the written legacy of Bulgaria”.
